WELCOME TO ROCKPORT WARRIORS UNITED
The inaugural retreat for Rockport Warriors United was even more than I expected or envisioned. Even though we all came from different branches, backgrounds, periods of service, geographic locations, it became readily apparent that we are indeed brothers arms. RWU provided an atmosphere of safety and acceptance which allowed many of us to lay down some very heavy baggage that we carry. I look forward to this organization developing into a major resource for recovery and ministry to our service members and veterans.

I can not thank you enough for hosting the first Rockport Warriors United Veterans Retreat 11-13 May 2018. It was the best, most relaxing retreat I have attended. David and Tracy provided a stress-free, loving, "this is your home" atmosphere. Everything from the volunteers to the food was excellent. The most important aspect for myself, was the feeling of a safe place to meet and talk with other veterans from may different eras. Everyone no matter what service, what skin color, how old you are had one thing in common, service to our country. Many relationships were formed from complete strangers that will last lifetime. There is no other place, home, sanctuary or what every you want to call it in the costal bend area like this.
Psalm 133:1 Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.
From a recent guest at RWU
Dave and Tracy, you two are the most wonderful and gifted people on earth. Because of you guys my son and I have bonded on a permanent basis. We enjoyed everything including the volunteers, organizations and friends. I make you this promise, I will travel as far as God gives me the strength to solicit help and donations. I have already contacted my president and members of the Alamo Chapter #366, Vietnam Veterans of America, I will share my visit with them at our next meeting. I will keep you in my prayers and up to date. God Bless.
